She never dances alone

is an ensemble of felt works in the  group show Boobs are Dancing of 22 women artist at Articulate Project Space, Sydney curated by Elizabeth Rankin and Kirsten Drewes in celebration of International Women’s Day.

The felt sculptures I am showing in this exhibition are depicting abstracted intimate parts of the body that are celebrating the human body with its flesh, sexuality and corporeality. With their uncertain gender they aim to simultaneously evoke humour, dismay and sympathy in the viewers.
